Database of Consultants

With the purpose of accelerating development and promoting co-operation among its shareholder countries, the BSTDB will promote regional trade, finance and projects, and facilitate efforts of member states to create stronger links among their economies.

Assistance from consultants / advisory services will be required in these endeavours. Interested individuals and firms that have regional/country expertise, are invited to apply using the file questionnaire.rtf (113kB); zip compressed (8kB); pdf format (19kB));. Their regional/country expertise has to be evidenced by assignments gained through competitive biddings by public agencies, including governments, international financial institutions, or assignments by reputable commercial clients, like leading national/international banks, venture capital funds, non-profit developmental organizations, etc.

Only individuals and firms meeting the above mentioned criteria for experience will be considered. Environmental consultants will also be required to have experience in Environmental Assessment and Due Diligence Auditing; Environmental Impact Assessment; EMS/Environmental Action Plan Development and Implementation.

Submissions may be made at any time, so that consultants may introduce themselves as and when these criteria are met.

Consultants may update their submissions once every twelve months unless their trading circumstances or addresses have changed, details of which should be notified promptly.

Using the format of the Questionnaire (  ) file, interested consultants should submit a version copied, from this file, for each category. The information should be completed to contain details designed to demonstrate the consultant's superior capabilities to those of its competitors in that category.

Each file submitted must be with a new file name in the following format so as uniquely to identify the submitted document:

For firms:

by replacing appropriately the lower case text, for example

For individuals:

Inserted text in the document file to be submitted must be in Times New Roman 12 point. Each document must be in the format requested but not exceed the five pages specified.

Failure to comply with requirements may result in the file not being further considered.

By participating in this process consultants accept that there is no obligation by the Bank to use any consultant's services and that responses may be considered as being in the public domain.

Conforming responses will be readily accessible to Bank staff for their use in selecting consultants and may be provided to Bank clients.
