The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB)
offers in-service training periods (internships) from 2 to 6 months
for students in graduate or postgraduate level studies from the
member states of the Bank. These internship periods involve work
experience in one of the departments/offices of the Bank.
Selection
Procedure
An
intern is selected from among nationals of the member
countries of the Bank. The Bank accepts a maximum of (11)
eleven interns from the member states at any period of time throughout
the year.
Internship at the BSTDB is open to applicants who have not already
benefited from an internship at the Bank, and who:
are
presently enrolled in a course of graduate or postgraduate level
education;
are less than twenty-six (26) years of age;
are fluent in spoken and written English.
Application
Procedures
An application should be made on BSTDB Internship Application
Form.
An
application is only accepted if an official statement accompanies
it from the university confirming proof of enrollment in a
graduate or postgraduate level program as well as two recently
written reference letters.
BSTDB partners with AIESEC, the biggest non-governmental International
Students Association in sourcing its interns. A student may
also register its interest in an internship with BSTDB with
its University’s AIESEC office.
Further
Conditions
An
intern admitted to the Internship Program should submit a proof
of medical insurance coverage in Greece for the period of the
internship.
Each
intern receives a stipend of 550 euros payable on a monthly basis
from the Bank to assist with living expenses.
The
Bank does not secure the intern’s accommodation in Greece
and does not make travel arrangements. The Bank may issue, upon
request, the relevant confirmation in order to facilitate the
granting of a visa to the intern.
No
close relatives of Bank’s
employees can be offered internship placements.
