In an insightful lecture held at the Rakovski National Defence College in Sofia, the BSTDB President, Dr. Serhat Köksal, addressed a wide array of global and regional economic challenges, emphasising the crucial role of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and Development Finance Institutions in fostering regional economic cooperation and development. He elaborated on global developments and major geopolitical, health, and financial challenges of recent years, underlining the critical importance of international financial collaboration. 

The event, which drew a diverse group of military leaders and academic staff, highlighted the interconnected nature of global economies and the importance of collaborative financial strategies to address ongoing and emerging economic issues.
