Intern – Information and Communication Technology Department (DIT)

Tentative starting date(s): February 2024 (6 – 9months)

The intern will assist the IT Help desk team with:

• installation, repair, transfer and replacement of hardware and software;
• provision of technical support at the 1st level for IT technical issues;
• arrangement and storage of spare parts and spare equipment;
• responding to requests for IT technical issues;
• technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure (network, communications, telephones);
• other ad hoc projects (eg issues of installations or movement of users to other points);
• implementation of IT based solution for IT services using the ManageEngine tools and Microsoft PowerApps tools;
• mobile enrolment process.

Applicants should:

• be students/have a degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering;
• have an excellent command of the English language;
• have good knowledge of Windows 10, computer networks, hardware, printers;
• have knowledge of SQL databases and basic program skills in Jason, and Microsoft PowerApps.
• have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
