In 2025, BSTDB provided a new SME leasing facility of EUR 10 million to TBC Leasing, the leading provider of financial lease services in Georgia. TBC Leasing (member of TBC Group) is an existing BSTDB financial partner in Georgia. With this new medium-term SME leasing facility to support TBC Leasing’s activities in financing capital goods for SMEs in Georgia, BSTDB is promoting job creation, income generation and, to extent possible, increasing trade turnover between BSEC countries. The first SME leasing facility by the Bank was extended to TBC Leasing in 2007. Since then, BSTDB disbursed to TBC Leasing an aggregated amount of around USD 40 million which were on-lent to Georgian SMEs in various sectors and regions.
