BSTDB leadership meets Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister in Athens
Both sides explore opportunities to strengthen regional engagement
The President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Dr. Serhat Köksal, the Secretary General, Mr. Asterios Tsoukalas, and Mr. Mehmet Taş, Special Advisor to the President met with H.E. Mr. Alibek Kuantyrov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and H.E. Mr. Timur Sultangozhin, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hellenic Republic, at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Athens.
The meeting focused on economic developments in Central Asia and explored potential areas of cooperation between BSTDB and Kazakhstan, in line with the Bank’s mandate to foster economic growth and regional cooperation.
The parties also underlined the importance of maintaining close working contacts and enhancing engagement in areas of mutual interest.
The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is an international financial institution established by Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Türkiye, and Ukraine.
