BSTDB Held a Successful Business Forum in Russia

On 2 July 2018, in the framework of its Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, BSTDB held a Business Forum titled “BSTDB: Supporting Russia’s Growth and Regional Cooperation”.
The Forum, organized in cooperation with the business association “Business Russia” (“Delovaiya Rossiya”) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar region, gathered more than 200 participants mostly from the South of Russia.
The Bank made a comprehensive presentation of its financial products, business practices and technical assistance opportunities offered to Russian businesses.
BSTDB bankers had dozens of B2B meetings with interested companies to discuss investment initiatives and cooperation opportunities.
During the Forum, the Bank and the business association “Business Russia” concluded a cooperation agreement to jointly promote regional trade and economic cooperation. BSTDB signed a USD 25 million trade finance credit line with Russian Sovcombank. The Bank made a joint project presentation with the Russian pulp and paper producer Solikamskbumprom involving an environmental assessment review prepared with a technical assistance provided by the Black Sea Project Promotion Facility recently established by the Russian Government, BSEC and BSTDB.
