BSTDB becomes Observer - aspiring member of the Evaluation Cooperation Group of Multilateral Financial Institutions

BSTDB became an Observer - aspiring member at the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG) established in 1996 by multilateral financial institutions (MFIs). The ECG is a network of evaluators aimed to strengthen the use of evaluation for greater MFI effectiveness and accountability; share lessons; harmonize performance indicators and evaluation methodologies and approaches; enhance evaluation professionalism and facilitate the involvement of borrowing member countries and build their evaluation capacity.
The ECG is composed of the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank Group.
The evaluation department of BSTDB will actively cooperate with the ECG and expects that in due course a full membership status will be obtained.
