BSTDB signs a EUR 30 million loan agreement with the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) aimed at financing projects for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the Black Sea region
News | 09-Jun-2011
The EUR 30 million loan agreement was signed today by Mr. Mustafa Boran, BSTDB Vice President Banking and Mr. Harro Pitkanen, NIB Senior Director, at the BSTDB headquarters.
The facility, which has a 10-year maturity, will be used by BSTDB to support projects in the member countries, principally in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy saving sectors.
Protecting the environment is a common priority for BSTDB and NIB operating as they do in neighbouring regions with close business ties. This new facility is the latest example of successful institutional cooperation developed within the framework of NIB’s Observer Status with BSTDB.
