BSTDB delegation visits Ukraine

A BSTDB delegation headed by President Mr. Andrey Kondakov paid a working visit to Kyiv to promote the Bank’s activities in Ukraine and to discuss the implementation of the BSTDB medium-term strategy and business plan for 2011-2014 with Ukrainian authorities.  The delegation met H.E. Mr. Petro Poroshenko, Minister of Economic Development and Trade and BSTDB Governor for Ukraine, Mr. Valeriy Pyatnytskiy, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mr. Sergiy Rybak, Deputy Minister of Finance, and senior officials at the National Bank of Ukraine. BSTDB discussed cooperation opportunities with Mr. Alexander Sugonyako, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks and made a presentation for the Ukrainian business community at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ukraine ranks third in the BSTDB portfolio accounting for 16% of the Bank’s signed operations. BSTDB operational priorities in Ukraine include supporting manufacturing, infrastructure, renewable energy, and export promotion.
