BSTDB President Speaks to Regional Municipalities in Athens

On October 18, 2013, Mr. Kondakov, BSTDB President presented the Bank’s strategy and financial products designed to support urban  infrastructure development at the Conference of the Union of Central, South and Eastern European Capitals hosted by the Athens municipality. Mayors and senior municipal officials of six capitals of the BSTDB member countries participated in the event.

Increased support for municipal infrastructure development is a BSTDB strategic priority. The Bank has a track record of successful projects helping municipalities to meet their infrastructure needs, including the construction of airports, metro and tramways in member countries. BSTDB seeks to introduce more sophisticated and longer term financial products.
