BSTDB Participates in Meetings of BSEC Governing Bodies in Russia

BSTDB delegation headed by President Delikanli took part in the meetings of the BSEC Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and the Committee of Senior Officials in Sochi, Russia on June 29-July 1, 2016.

BSTDB delegation presented Bank’s analysis of the economic development and investment trends in the Black Sea region.

President Delikanli welcomed the decision of the Russian Government to contribute USD 1 million to the Black Sea Project Promotion Facility to be launched soon.

The Facility will be used by BSTDB and BSEC to promote regional investment and assist in the preparation of projects in many areas, including renewable energy, infrastructure, environmentally friendly technologies, and support for the SME sector development.
