AVOID CONFUSION: Black Sea Trade & Development Bank is NOT Black Sea Bank for Reconstruction & Development in Simferopol, Crimea
News | 26-Nov-2018
In July 2017, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) posted a public warning that there was a possibility of initial confusion, due to the similarity of names, between BSTDB and the “Black Sea Bank for Reconstruction and Development” (ChBRR, in Russian - ЧБРР) based in Simferopol, Crimea.
As our business practice shows, a possibility for such confusion still remains.
For the avoidance of any doubt, please note that the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank is an International Financial Institution, comprising eleven Member States of the Black Sea region and headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece pursuant to the intergovernmental treaty registered by the United Nations.
BSTDB is completely unrelated and in no way affiliated, nor has any dealings with the Black Sea Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
