BSTDB’s project to modernize 14 Greek airports wins Deal of the Year Award

The Black Sea Trade and Development (BSTDB) was in the group of sponsors and investors receiving the “Deal of the Year” European Award by IJ Global - Project Finance and Infrastructure Journal for its participation in the project to modernize 14 Greek regional airports by Fraport Greece, a joint venture of Fraport AG and Copelouzos Group. 

With BSTDB’s lending in excess of EUR 62 million, the largest investment in a member-country to date, this major infrastructure project includes the modernization of the Makedonia International Airport of Thessaloniki, BSTDB’s host city and has a paramount development impact on the Greek economy.
