BSTDB President meets the Prime Minister of Bulgaria

During a Bank’s working visit to Bulgaria on 16-17 April 2018, President Delikanli and BSTDB delegation were received by H.E. Mr. Boyko Borissov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The President briefed the Prime Minister on the Bank’s latest activity in the country, namely the financing for the construction of the first Marriott hotel in Sofia. The President presented the operation to the Prime Minister and said that “BSTDB, in cooperation with a Bulgarian bank, attracted foreign investment in the country.” He also said that “this project will make significant contribution to the Bulgarian economy, will create 250 direct employment posts and will promote Bulgaria’s tourism industry.”

Dr. Delikanli also updated the Prime Minister on the BSTDB strategy and business plans for Bulgaria and for the Black Sea Region.
