Yiannis Dragasakis, Deputy Prime Minister of Greece Visits BSTDB

Today, Dmitry Pankin, BSTDB President welcomed Yiannis Dragasakis, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of the Hellenic Republic and BSTDB Governor for Greece at the Bank’s premises in Thessaloniki.

The parties discussed cooperation opportunities and ways to improve further the Bank’s development activities in Greece in the context of Government’s economic and investment policy priorities.

BSTDB has substantially increased its financing in Greece over the past three years, bringing the country’s portfolio share from 4% in 2015 to 17% in 2018.

Mr. Dragasakis confirmed the Government’s support to BSTDB’s activities and its commitment to assist in providing permanent premises for the Bank in Thessaloniki.
