BSTDB President Visits Georgia

On 29-30 November, President Pankin visited Tbilisi to meet with Koba Gvenetadze, Governor of the National Bank and BSTDB Governor for Georgia and with Minister of Finance Ivane Matchavariani and Deputy Minister of Finance Nikoloz Gagua, BSTDB Director for Georgia.
The Georgian officials highlighted the country’s key economic and investment priorities and welcomed the Bank’s growing contribution to the country’s development. Further diversification of Bank’s portfolio, increased financing in the local currency and support for Georgia infrastructure, including the municipal and tourism sectors, were indicated as priority areas.
The BSTDB delegation also met with the top management of the Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank to discuss future business opportunities with the long-term clients.
