BSTDB President Meets the New Minister of Development and Investments of Greece

On 27 August 2019, Dmitry Pankin, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) met Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investments of the Hellenic Republic and Ioannis Tsakiris, Deputy Minister, newly appointed as, respectively, BSTDB Governor and Director for Greece.  

 

The President, accompanied by Aristotelis Spiliotis, BSTDB Secretary General, presented the Bank's strategy and business plan and informed on latest developments. The two sides exchanged views on the Bank’s current activities in Greece and ways to increase its support of the Government’s investment priorities and the country’s growth and development.

 

Greece’s outstanding portfolio currently stands at EUR 380 million,  accounting for over 20% of the Bank’s total outstanding portfolio. BSTDB financing has been channeled to infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and IT sectors, transportation and the financial sector.
