BSTDB and International Hellenic University Establish Cooperation

News | 08-Dec-2020

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) and the International Hellenic University (IHU) have signed a framework cooperation agreement to jointly support and improve graduate studies and professional development of young people in the countries of the Black Sea Region and beyond.

The Agreement envisages exchange of knowledge and joint educational activities, lecturing and seminars on legal issues, economics, energy and environmental sustainability, risk management and other topics relevant to the BSTDB’s expertise and that of the IHU, taking into account the provisions of the Greek University law regarding teaching. Under the agreement, the two parties may also elaborate joint proposals on EU-funded programs.

“It is my pleasure to sign this agreement- the first of its kind with an international educational institution active in our Region and I hope we will have a fruitful cooperation in the years ahead”, said Aristotelis Spiliotis, BSTDB Secretary General, after the signing.

“Implementing the strategic plan, recently determined by the Governing Board of the University, substantial part of which is the extroversion of the University and its connection with the business world - in order to support our students and graduates, to make themselves familiar with the business matters and methods and to find better employment opportunities for them -,  it is with great pleasure that I sign this agreement with the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank”  stated the President of the International Hellenic University, Professor em. Dr.(Heidelberg) Athanassios Kaissis.
