New BSTDB Vice President assumes duties

Following a proposal of the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, the BSTDB Board of Directors appointed Mr. Mustafa Boran as Vice President - Banking of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank as of 16 July 2010 for a period of 4 years. Mr. Boran is replacing Mr. Andrey Kondakov.

 

Born in 1969, Mr. Boran started his career at the Undersecretariat of Treasury of the Republic of Türkiye in 1993 as an expert. Having occupied progressively responsible positions, he became Chief of Division at General Directorate for Foreign Direct Investments in 2000, being responsible for rendering orientation services to foreign investors and evaluating foreign investment projects.  In 2004 he moved to the Directorate General for State Economic Enterprises (SEEs), where he was in charge of the allocation of the state budget to SEEs as well as for the investment plans and administration of these enterprises. From 2006 to June 2010 he was Deputy Director General and Deputy National Authorizing Officer (NAO) with the Directorate General for Foreign Economic Relations negotiating, managing, implementing and evaluating EU-funded programs in Türkiye and selecting projects for financing. Mr. Boran also served as a member of the BSTDB Board of Directors for Türkiye in 2006-2009.



Mr. Boran studied economics at the University of Marmara (Türkiye) and accomplished his postgraduate studies in Policy Economics at the University of Illinois (USA).

 

Mr. Boran is single.
