New BSTDB Vice President Assumed Duties

Following the proposal of the Government of Ukraine, and upon the recommendation of the BSTDB President and Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mustafa Gurtin, the BSTDB Board of Directors appointed Mr. Vitaly LISOVENKO Vice President-Banking of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. Mr. LISOVENKO took up his duties from June 19, 2002.

 

Born in 1972 in Ukraine Mr. LISOVENKO was trained in Finance and Banking at the State Kyiv Economic University and has a PhD diploma in Economics. He has also completed several training programmes at the Michigan and Georgetown universities (USA). Mr. LISOVENKO speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.

 

In 1994-2002 Mr. LISOVENKO made his professional career at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine having been successively promoted from a position of Economist to the First Deputy Sate Secretary of the Ministry. During his career Mr. LISOVENKO was mainly engaged in cooperation with International Financial Institutions and external debt management. He is a member of Supervisory Boards of The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine and of the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Commerce.

Mr. LISOVENKO is the author of a number of publications on the issues of sovereign guarantees, credit risk and external debt.

 

At the BSTDB Mr. LISOVENKO supervises project financing and trade finance operations. He replaced Mr. Oleg RYBACHUK.
