BSTDB Will Hold its Fifth Annual Meeting and the Black Sea Business Day in Thessaloniki

The Event will Highlight the Development of Economic Relations Between the Black Sea Region and the European Union
On June 1-2, 2003 the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) will hold its Fifth Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors and its Fourth Black Sea Business Day at the Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki. In association with the event, a major Conference is planned on June 1, under the auspices of the Hellenic EU Presidency, which is expected to give an impetus to economic relations between the Black Sea Countries and the European Union.
The Black Sea Business Day 2003 is expected to host top Government and international officials, business leaders, bankers and investors from the region and other countries. The Business Day discussions will focus on issues of attracting investments to regional projects in the sectors of industry and energy, other important areas, as well as on mobilizing international , European in particular, financing to the Black sea region.
The event will offer the opportunity to investors, businessmen and traders to meet with high-level officials and bankers in order to discuss development opportunities, financing programmes and other prospects for business activities in the region.
