BSTDB will hold its 2004 Annual Meeting and Black Sea Business Day in Albania

On June 6 & 7, 2004, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) will hold the 6th Annual Meeting of its Board of Governors and the Black Sea Business Day conference in Tirana, Albania. Mrs. Adriana Berberi, Deputy Minister of Finance of Albania, is the current Chairperson of the BSTDB Board of Governors. H.E. Mr. Fatos Nano, the Prime Minister of Albania, will inaugurate the Black Sea Business Day.

 

The discussions of the Black Sea Business Day will concentrate on regional infrastructure development and agro-business, and will also address the issue of mobilizing international financial resources for economic development. Special attention will be paid to the growing number of investment opportunities in Albania. Speakers will include high-level representatives of the Albanian government and of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and other International Financial Institutions, as well as leading regional and international entrepreneurs, donors and investors.

 

The Black Sea Business Day will be supported by the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, the Albanian Agri-Business Council and the Association of Albanian Banks. The event will offer an excellent opportunity for investors, bankers and businessmen to discuss project and trade financing opportunities in Albania and in the greater Black Sea region.
