New BSTDB Vice President Operations Assumes Duties

The Board of Directors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) appointed Ms. Nina Stavreva as Vice President Operations for the 2014-2018 period. Ms. Stavreva was nominated to the position by the Government of Bulgaria and assumed her duties on December 16, 2014.
Ms. Stavreva started her career at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria, in 1993 and in 2005 she became Head of Cabinet of the Minister of Finance. In 2009 she joined the Bulgarian DSK Bank as Senior Economist responsible for the bank’s strategic planning. She served as Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria in 2013-2014. Ms. Stavreva has been a board member of various state-owned and private Bulgarian banks, since 1998. She represented Bulgaria at the BSTDB Board of Directors in 1999-2009 and at the Board of Governors in 2013-2014.
Ms. Stavreva has a Master’s Degree in Finance and Credit from the University of National and World Economy of Sofia, Bulgaria.
She is fluent in English and Russian.
