Press Release | 13-Jun-2016

On June 13, 2016, the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), to form a cooperation aimed at improving the investment environment in Greece and in other countries of the Black Sea region.

Specifically, in the context of this MoU, the two organizations agreed to promote jointly specific business initiatives, investment programs and events of interest to potential clients. Emphasis will be placed on the promotion of investment projects relating to the cross-border supply chain and organized industrial zones, but without excluding other types of activities.

The FING agrees to distribute information to Greek businesses on the credit and guarantee services offered by BSTDB, using complementary tools and the networking structures of Enterprise Europe Network, in which FING has participated since 2008.

In addition, the Memorandum provides for the further development of cooperation with Chambers of Commerce and other private operators in the Black Sea region, in order to strengthen the investment implementation effort.

The MoU was signed in the framework of the FING’s Annual General Meeting in Thessaloniki, by the President of FING, Mr. Athanasios Savvakis and by the President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Dr. Ihsan Ugur Delikanli.
