Memorandum of Understanding between the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank

On June 13, 2016, the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece
(FING) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Black Sea Trade and
Development Bank (BSTDB), to form a cooperation aimed at improving the
investment environment in Greece and in other countries of the Black Sea
region.
Specifically, in the context of this MoU, the two organizations agreed
to promote jointly specific business initiatives, investment programs and
events of interest to potential clients. Emphasis will be placed on the promotion
of investment projects relating to the cross-border supply chain and organized
industrial zones, but without excluding other types of activities.
The FING agrees to distribute information to Greek businesses on the
credit and guarantee services offered by BSTDB, using complementary tools and
the networking structures of Enterprise Europe Network, in which FING has
participated since 2008.
In addition, the Memorandum provides for the further development of
cooperation with Chambers of Commerce and other private operators in the Black
Sea region, in order to strengthen the investment implementation effort.
The MoU was signed in the framework of the FING’s Annual General
Meeting in Thessaloniki, by the President of FING, Mr. Athanasios Savvakis and
by the President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Dr. Ihsan Ugur
Delikanli.
