The financing in a well-established local company like SAS Group will help to modernize retail infrastructure, enhance consumer access, and create tangible economic value—from increased employment to stronger links with domestic producers. Moreover, given the fact that a number of BSTDB's countries of operation, i.e. Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine are suppliers of food products to Armenia, the development of a food distribution system in the country may be expected to contribute positively to economic cooperation and trade among several countries of the Black Sea Region.
