An USD 525 million Syndicated Structured Pre-Export Facility to JSC Acron, Russia. The proposed syndicated financing facility will be used towards repaying an existing bridge facility of USD 400m and to finance the capital expenditure requirements or working capital of the Borrower or repaying other financial indebtedness of the Borrower.

Developmental and Regional Cooperation Impact:
The Strategy for Russia asks the Bank to consider undertaking activities and providing services as may advance its purpose, paying special attention to activities promoting export of goods and services, and development of infrastructure, including energy efficiency. Acron is a vertical integrated, low cost producer with a focus on energy efficiency. Also, it is a worldwide exporter with sales in 65 countries and a London Stock Exchange listed transparent economic entity with sound corporate governance and management. By supporting Acron the Bank supports the objective of Russia to diversify the economic base of the country and to reduce dependence on raw materials and commodities while developing manufacturing and other high value added activities.
