Description and Purpose of the Operation:
A long-term loan to Prometey Group to finance the Group’s corporate development program for the period 2019-2020, consisting of: 1) the acquisition and reconstruction of two grain silos and 2) working capital requirements. BSTDB funds will support the development of the agriculture business and advance the export potential of the Group.

Developmental and Regional Cooperation Impact:
The Operation is consistent with the Bank’s operational priorities as outlined in the BoD approved Country Strategy for Ukraine 2015-2018, which lists agriculture as one of the priority sectors for the Bank’s operations in Ukraine.
Environmental Classification and Impact (summary):
The Οperation has been screened as category B. Providing support for working capital, and acquisition of new grain elevators is not likely to be associated with significant E&S issues. The existing risks and impacts are generally limited, site specific, and can be readily addressed through recognized prevention and mitigation measures widely applied in the agribusiness sector. The due diligence did not identify E&S risks and impacts associated with Prometey that could result in reduction, suspension, or closing down of its operations, or have material negative effects on the state of environmental and human health and safety.
